Palm Oil can grow well in Malaysia, where there

is plenty of sunshine and rain.

However, it needs to be taken care of in order for it to grow healthy and fruitful.

In order to produce palm oil of the best quality, the following procedure is taken.

Only the best oil palm seeds are selected for planting 

The germinated oil palm seeds are transferred into

polybags at the nursery for 12 to 15 months.

Only healthy and normal oil palm

seedlings are transplanted to the plantations.

Precautions are always taken to prevent pest attacks as well as

diseases at oil palm plantations.

The trees start bearing fruit after 30 months of

being transplanted to the plantation. They continue to bear fruits for the next 20 to 30 years, before being replaced with new trees.
