How Palm Oil Is Processed

Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB)

FFB is taken to the palm oil mill.

STERILISATION

FFB is transferred into metal cages, then loaded into horizontal sterilisers. This is done to neutralize enzymes and soften the fruits.

THRESHING

FFB are placed into the thresher. This will separate the oil palm fruit from the bunch.
